Fair enough Bowlby. I'm personally exhilarated by a lot of his songs. If you fancy looking a bit deeper to see if any of it is for you, check out his "Thing a week" podcast and you can listen to his back catalog for free.
It's definitely not for everyone, but it's his anthems for the frustrated that speak to me, and many of them are simply toe-tapping fun, whatever your interests. Stick around for a bit and you'll see the man has a range like few others.

I'm going to be completely frank here: I don't like nerdcore. It's aversive to me as a skin rash, and I don't like its quaint, cutesy-ness; it just grinds my nerves into the ground. Having listened to a clip of "Mr. Fancy Pants" I can't deny that that song has a cool sound to it.
"Still Alive" didn't work on me, but then it was spoiled by all the people who, having completed the game, decided to put the song up on YouTube sites, saying "Look how cool this is!" Looking back on it, that song pretty much fits perfectly in context, and that's where it's really effective. Outside of it, though... not so much. (At least, not so much for me.)
[WORDPRESS HASHCASH] The poster sent us '0 which is not a hashcash value.
